The Yellow Bird Project

Yellow Bird Project is a Montreal-based, non-profit initiative. Based on a collaborate with musicians (some of my favourites btw: The National, Au Revoir Simone, Stars, The Shins..) in designing a T-shirt, those guys print and sell them on their website, and all of the money goes to charity.
Each of the artists gets to choose their own.
They have three fundamental aims:

1) To make money for charities directly through T-shirt sales.
2) To raise awareness for charity organizations through artists’ endorsement.
3) To raise the profile of the artists we like.

The Drama Goes Bizarre

Some days ago Daytrotter published the Death Cab for Cutie six song set, which includes two tracks from their stunning upcoming 4th album Narrow Stairs. “Talking Bird” and “Cath” are the new ones.
The set includes also “A Movie Script Ending” and “Styrofoam Plates”.

I've been listening to Narrow Stairs since days now and I truly think it's one of their best, most sincere and obsessed works.
