I have do admit it. Summer in Milan is not so bad. Finally you can taste the real mood of the city, with almost empy streets and small places full of life. Some electrosuggestions if you are around.

With small shops, vintage boutiques, art galleries, design stores and small tavolini in the street. A fullpacked bar-area. Go to via San Marco and have dinner in the Carlsberg Pub Garden, cozy and cheap. Suggested resto: Utz and L'Amour(via solferino) 3) Beach Volley Addicted? The Arena Civica is the answer. Just one field but you can play from 10 am to 11 pm! If you prefer swimming, a little expensive but cool: QuantaVillage (Affori)
4) American Bookstore, a lovely place to find all your favourite authors! (cairoli)

Just back from one stunning & refreshing week in Lampedusa, a small island below Sicily, actually situated 205 km from Sicily and 113 km from Tunisia (almost Africa!It's very hot but windy) For Geography, History & co enjoy Wikipedia :)

It's simply heaven, with beautiful sea, lots of fishes swimming all around you and the warmest local people you could find.
ElectroSuggestions: Rent a motorbike or a scooter, you can't live without in the island. Have dinner (once, cause it's a little money consuming) at Gemelli Restaurant, near the old harbour (and airport). Fine Fantasy cooking but surely worthy.

Fly with Alitalia (myair is frequently very late, the airport is smaller than my house!) Have a boat trip (one day, from 10 am to 6.30pm). Surely the best way to explore the beautiful coast and small beaches. There' s also a disco-boat where you can dance during the trip! Go to Isola di Conigli Beach, Cala Creta (my fav) & Cala Croce.
Both in Creta&Croce, there are small chiringuitos & resto near the beach for amazing lunches & breaks, in Conigli bring water & food with you cause there is nothing to buy in place (neither services of course, it's a natural reserve).
